Audi Driver Squad Stronger than Ever Before
Audi DTM driver Oliver Jarvis recently returned from the traditional Audi Winter Camp in Ofterschwang, Bavaria in preparation for the 2009 season ahead of him.

All the AUDI AG factory drivers gathered for a week in January with their team bosses in this annual event which this year focussed on team building as well as fitness training.

Head of Audi Motorsport, Dr Wolfgang Ullrich, was extremely satisfied.  “As far as the team spirit and fitness are concerned, we can safely say that we have the strongest driver and team line ups that you can imagine."

“This time we integrated even more fun and games to bond the team even more,” explained Audi team doctor, Christian John who supervised the event and also put the drivers’ fitness under the microscope.

The varied program started daily at 7.30am with stretching and aqua power.  Afterwards the activities included team games such as water-basketball, indoor football, cross-country skiing, weight training, and exercises to encourage co-ordination and improve muscle condition. The crowning moment of the week in the Allgäu was a snowshoe tour to the summit of the Ofterschwang Horns.

Test drives are mainly on the program for the Audi drivers during the forthcoming weeks.  The DTM season begins on 17 May at the Hockenheimring.
